Jimmy Allen, Founder & President
Jimmy is a licensed General Contractor and the founder of Jimmy Allen Contractors. His career started in the early 1980s as a carpenter in the Wilson area and in 1989 he received his unlimited commercial and residential General Contractor license. He officially began operating Jimmy Allen Contractors on the Crystal Coast in 2005 and has been building dream homes ever since. Jimmy has an eye for the details and enjoys working with his clients on innovative design and functionality in their homes. Jimmy and his wife, Becky, have two daughters and a son, one granddaughter and two English bulldogs. They love to travel & enjoy the finer things in life!
Grant Allen, Operations Manager
Grant, Jimmy’s son, is the operations manager at Jimmy Allen Contractors and is currently working towards his General Contractor license. Grant grew up around the business and spent years helping his dad with carpentry work and framing. After working in the medical field for several years he has now found his way to the construction industry and is excited to be working with his dad on the JAC team. Grant recently moved back to North Carolina after living in Charleston, South Carolina for the past five years. During his time in Charleston he grew to admire the architectural style of the Lowcountry and hopes to incorporate touches into future projects. Grant and his wife, Lea, have a baby girl and a golden retriever. They love trying new restaurants, coffee shops & quiet weekends at home.
